Prometheus Search is a map-based project that brings together sourced public information about grid, land, and risk in France. Its purpose is to make an initial screening view easier to inspect in one place.

The map is an early exploration tool. Its layers are preliminary inputs for further investigation; they are not a definitive assessment, site recommendation, or substitute for checking the underlying sources and local conditions.

Conceptual diagram. It does not reproduce mapped locations or results.

What it brings together

The current view organizes preliminary grid, land, and risk layers from public sources. The intent is to support early exploration: make inputs visible together, then follow up with the relevant source material and more detailed checks.

What it does not establish

The map does not establish that a location is suitable for infrastructure. The presence or absence of a mapped feature should not be read as a complete account of capacity, availability, constraints, or risk. Source coverage and interpretation need review, and the map has not yet been tested by external users.

Why share it

Sharing the project makes the current work inspectable and creates a basis for feedback. Questions about how the layers are presented, what is unclear, and what would be useful to investigate next can help guide further development.
